I am lucky enough to live in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by countryside. I also have a deep and lifelong love of the coast and like nothing more than spending any holiday time within the sight and sound of the sea. While primarily a live performance photographer, I cherish the times I get to appreciate the seasonality of life and the way this is expressed in the great outdoors. There have been times I have been confronted with a beauty so powerful that it has literally taken my breath away. Sometimes it’s been so fleeting, there’s not been a chance to even grab a snapshot – the moment has gone. Other times I’ve simply been in the right place at the right time, with camera in hand. Both however serve to remind me that there is beauty all around us, the challenge is taking the time to see it.
